How to Download Fonts in to PowerPoint
Fonts are essential for creating stunning presentation slides.Luckily, Microsoft PowerPoint makes it easy to add new fonts to the program. Here’s how you can download fonts and add them to your next presentation
Step 1: Download the fonts
First, you need to find and download fonts that are compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint. The easiest way to do this is to use a website with specialized fonts. Make sure you download the font when prompted.
Step 2: Install the fonts
When the font is downloaded, you need to install it. Locate the file in your Downloads folder and double-click it. A window will appear on your screen, prompting you to install the font. Once it’s finished installing, close the window.
Step 3: Verify the font was installed
Now you need to locate the font on your computer. To do this, you need to navigate to the Fonts folder. This can be done by:
- Windows 8+: Go to the Control Panel then select Appearance and Personalization. Within the window, select Fonts.
- Windows 7: Click the Start button at the bottom left of your screen and select Control Panel. Select Appearance and Personalization, then select Fonts.
Step 4: Add the font to PowerPoint
Your font will now be available in PowerPoint. To use it, open PowerPoint and select the text you want to edit. On the Home tab, select the drop-down arrow next to the font name. This will display all the fonts that are available to use. Locate the font you installed and click it to apply.
