How to Download Fonts from DaFont to Cricut
Step 1: Go to the dafont.com Website
Go to the dafont.com website and search for the font that you want to download.
Step 2:Download the Font
Once you click on the font that you want to download, click on the “Download” button located in the upper right of the page.
Step 3: Save the Font
Once the font is downloaded, save it to your computer. Make sure to save it in a folder or location that you can easily find later.
Step 4: Install the Font
Now you need to install the font on your computer. To do this, double click on the font file that you just downloaded and it should open in the font installation window. Click on the “Install” button to install the font.
Step 5: Open the Cricut Design Space App
Open the Cricut Design Space App on your computer.
Step 6: Select “Library” in the Left-hand Side Navigation
Within the Cricut Design Space App, select the “Library” button in the left-hand side navigation.
Step 7: Select “Changed”
At the top of the Library page, select the “Changed” tab.
Step 8: Drag & Drop the Font into the “Changed” Section
Drag and drop the font file that you downloaded earlier into the “Changed” section of the “Library” area.
Step 9: Use the Font in Your Cricut Project
Now you are able to use the font you just downloaded in your Cricut project. Select the font from the “Fonts” section of the “Design” page.
Tips for Downloading Fonts from DaFont to Cricut:
- Check the terms and conditions – Make sure to read the terms and conditions for the font before downloading it.
- Read the font family – When downloading the font, make sure to read the font family as different font families can have different characters.
- Check the license – Some fonts have a specific license that you need to be aware of.
