Downloading Khmer Fonts for PC
It is possible for people to download Khmer fonts for use on PC computers. This enables people to view text written in the Khmer language on their computer screen in an appropriate font. The following outlines the steps for downloading the correct fonts for PC.
Instructions
- Step 1: Visit the official website for the Alliance for Language Diversity. This site contains a range of downloads for Khmer fonts, ranging from old to newly developed.
- Step 2: Choose the package that you require by clicking on the ‘Khmer Fonts’ button. This will bring up a list of options you can select from.
- Step 3: Read the information given about each font and then choose which one you want to install.
- Step 4: Download the font by clicking on the ‘Download’ button next to the font name.
- Step 5: Save the font file to your PC.
- Step 6: Right-click on the file and then select ‘Install’ from the options that appear.
- Step 7: Once the font has been installed, it will appear in the font list for any text editing programs you may have on your computer.
Additional Information
